Memorandum for warranty[For Robot]

 

1. Warranty period

OTC provides limited warranty as follows.

Please claim warranty to OTC distributor or OTC designated service shop. There is a possibility that OTC cannot return a part or a part of product that you brought to OTC distributor or service shop.

-Products / Warranty period: 2 year after delivery or 6000 hours of cumulative operating time, whichever is shorter.

        (A) Manipulator (Note1)

        (B) Robot Controller (Note2)

        (C) Printed circuit board built into the teach pendant

              (Note1) Including parts built into the manipulator

              (Note2) Includes parts built into the controller (including the controller for the external shaft)

 

 -Out-of-warranty products

  (a) Teach pendant (components other than printed circuit boards), Operation box, Starting box

(b) Robot peripherals (Positioner, Slider, Jig-related equipment)

(c) Sensor system (Arc sensor, Touch sensor, Laser search, Laser sensor)

(d) PC software (Offline teaching system, PC arc monitor, PC editing system)

  (e) Welding accessories (Water cooling system, Wire feeder, wire feeder controller, Interface device, etc.)

(f) Torch-related products such as welding torches, cutting torches, torch brackets, and torch cleaners.

(g) Control cables, coaxial power cables, welding power cables, conduits, and other cables and hoses

  (h) Above 1. Software incorporated in the industrial robot of the target product

(i) The following consumables that require regular inspection or replacement

       Battery, cooling fan, grease, magnetic contactor, auxiliary contact, relay, external storage USB, switching regulator, breaker handle, fuse, packing, support channel, caster, display board, mechanical stopper parts, other resin parts, etc.

 

 

2. Warranty coverage

During the warranty period, carry out the periodic inspection described in the instruction manual, and replace the defective part of the target product only if the failure occurs under proper usage conditions and it is due to manufacturing responsibility. Or we will repair it free of charge at the place of purchase or delivery of the product.

However, in the following cases, even during the warranty period, it will be out of the warranty range and will be repaired for a fee.

(1) Failure caused by improper condition environment, handling and usage that are not described in the instruction manual and catalog.

(2) When the cause of failure is due to the reason other than our product.

(3) Failure due to the reason other than our product such as customer’s equipment or software.

(4) Failure caused by the modification and repair implemented by party other than our company. (including the specified service shop)

(5) When the failure is caused by improper maintenance or replacement of consumable parts described in the instruction manual and catalog. (failure etc. caused by the use of goods other than genuine parts and parts / lubrication oil specified by our company)

(6) When the failure cannot be forecasted by the science / technology level as of purchase.

(7) Damage caused by natural disaster such as earthquake, fire, flood disaster or offence by third party and the failure that has a roots in that damage.

(8) Failure caused by movement after delivery and defective storage.

(9) Sound, vibration, bleeding of oil, color degradation of coated surface, rust and slight dent on appearance that have no problem in performance.

(10)Failure caused by transportation and construction work out of range of our construction.

(11)In case of reselling, assignment and lend-lease. (including the rental equipment)

(12)Other case that conforms to above and consumable parts / service parts.

(13) When the warranty registration card with the customer name, installation date, serial number, etc. is not returned to us.

 

However, the assurance here means the assurance of our product single unit, so the loss caused by the failure of our company is not excluded from the range of assurance.

 

 

3. Limitation of liability

(1) We do not accept any responsibility on the opportunity loss, special loss, indirect loss caused by this equipment, or accident compensation, damage other than out product.

(2) For the programmable this equipment, we do not accept any responsibility on the programming implemented by person other than our company and the result caused by that programming.

(3) We do not accept any responsibility on the processing quality when this equipment is used.

(4) If this equipment is repaired or the parts and/or the software are replaced, it is sometimes necessary to repair or adjust the existing teaching program or parameter.

Note that we do not accept any responsibility on those works and processing quality for the use of this robot system.

(5) This assurance is applied only when this equipment is installed within the country where the equipment is purchased. For the transaction and use in the foreign country, please contact us.

 

 

4. Service during the warranty period

(1) Please contact us (including designated distributors) in the unlikely event of a failure or periodic inspection.

(2) Be sure to show the warranty card to the engineer when repairing.

If you lose your warranty card, you may be charged a service fee even during the warranty period, so please keep it in a safe place.

(3) The cost burden of service work is as follows.

A) When the target product is out of order due to manufacturing responsibility

During the above warranty period, if we determine that repairs are necessary locally (limited to Thailand), we will repair by dispatching a technician free of charge.

B) When the cause of the failure is other than the target product

The cost required to isolate the failure will be charged separately.

C) When the cause of the failure cannot be identified

 

If the location of the failure cannot be identified or the defect cannot be reproduced even after performing certain isolation work, we will discuss with the customer.

 

 

Memorandum for warranty

[For Arc welding machine / Plasma cutting machine]

 

1. Warranty period

OTC provides limited warranty as follows.

Please claim warranty to OTC distributor or OTC designated service shop. There is a possibility that OTC cannot return a part or a part of product that you brought to OTC distributor or service shop.

-Products / Warranty period: 2 year after delivery

        (A) Arc welding machine

        (B) Plasma cutting machine

        (C) Spot welding machine

 

 

2. Warranty coverage

The product should be inspected regularly as described in the instruction manual, and the failure should occur under proper usage conditions in accordance with the precautionary statements such as the instruction manual and the caution label of the main body, and it is the responsibility of manufacturing. Only in the case of, we will replace or repair the defective part of the product free of charge by the method prescribed by our company. However, in the following cases, even during the warranty period, the repair will be out of the warranty range and will be charged.

(1) Wire feeders, torches, cables, hoses, gas flow regulators, cooling water, fans, consumables, etc. that require regular inspection and replacement.

(2) Failure due to an environment or condition other than the handling and usage described in the instruction manual or catalog, or due to an environment or condition outside the specifications.

(3) Failure when repaired or modified by someone other than our company (including designated service shops).

(4) Failure due to improper transportation, movement and storage after delivery.

(5) Failure caused by external factors such as fire, salt damage, earthquake, lightning, storm and flood damage, other natural disasters, or abnormal voltage.

(6) Failure caused by equipment and consumables other than those specified by us that are connected to this product.

(7) Failure due to use other than the original usage of our product.

(8) Failure that could not be foreseen at the scientific and technical level at the time of purchase.

(9) If this warranty is not presented

(10) If the warranty card does not include the format, serial number, delivery date, agency name, and customer name, or if the wording is rewritten.

(11) In the case of resale, transfer, rental (including rental machines).

(12) The Company shall not be liable for any unequal modifications.

(13) Other consumables / maintenance parts according to the above.

 

In addition, the warranty here means the warranty of our product alone, and the damage caused by the failure of our product shall be excluded from the coverage.

 

3. Limitation of liability

(1) The Company shall not be liable for opportunity loss, special damage, indirect damage, accident compensation, or damage to anything other than our products caused by this machine.

(2) The Company shall not be liable for the processing quality when using this machine under any circumstances.

(3) Purchase of this machine Applicable only when this machine is installed in Japan.

(4) The supply deadline for product parts is about 7 years after production is discontinued.

 

 

4. Service during the warranty period

(1) In the unlikely event that a malfunction occurs, contact the place of purchase or the service window designated by us.

(2) Please be sure to show the warranty card to the service person when repairing.
